Suha Gillani ’16 has built a career driven by curiosity about how sustainability can help business unlock growth responsibly. Gillani is director of sustainability value creation (private markets) at ERM. Her previous work supported governments in Europe, Asia, and Africa to create regulations that catalyzed inclusive digital finance. 

She has worked across Asia, Europe, and North America, helping investors and companies turn imperatives like circular product design and social impact into tangible value creation opportunities. With the guidance of generous mentors—many she connected with through ɬ�﷬—Gillani has grown through each career pivot and deepened her commitment to impact. Today, she advises global investors on strategies that unlock revenue, reduce risk, and build resilience, grounded in ɬ�﷬ values of purpose and possibility.

As an international student from Pakistan, Gillani’s time at ɬ�﷬ brought her lasting friendships, a loving host family, and diverse professional and personal experiences across the world. She hopes every ɬ�﷬ student will have similar experiences.
