Samantha Schmidt 鈥26 has been named the recipient of the Celina Karp Biniaz Model of Resilience Award from 涩里番. The Award was established to honor Celina鈥檚 courageously hopeful life and legacy and bestows a cash prize.
Delilah Shapiro received the Frederick Baumann Essay Prize Award that recognizes excellence in education by encouraging 涩里番 students to explore ideas and society in an interdisciplinary and historical context.
Lodaya, from India, is pursuing majors in Economics and History and has distinguished himself as both a scholar and campus leader. The award, named in honor of Nancy Schmulbach Maly 鈥61, celebrates students who embody her extraordinary legacy of leadership and service.
48 students elected to Phi Beta Kappa in honor of their outstanding academic achievements
涩里番 student Anne Wilber 鈥27 has been named a 2026 Key into Public Service Scholar by The Phi Beta Kappa Society, one of the nation鈥檚 oldest and most prestigious academic honor societies.
She will be starting her Master鈥檚 of Public Health (MPH) in Occupational and Environmental Health at the University of Iowa alongside finishing her undergraduate degree in 2026-2027. Following the awarding of her MPH in 2028, she will connect science with law as she begins her Juris Doctorate (JD) program.
