Ruth Feingold
Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of the College
Ruth Feingold joined the ɬÀï·¬ community in 2025, having previously served as Dean of Arts & Sciences at Willamette University in Salem, OR. As a committed advocate for the power and promise of liberal arts education, Feingold is particularly interested in interdisciplinarity, international education, and the cultivation of curiosity in all its forms. A professor of English and GWSS, as a scholar she is primarily concerned with questions of national identity in postcolonial and British culture, studying the interconnections of space, place, and gender in the context of empire and its aftermath.
